gina

Gina discovered her niche 17 years ago after many years in the fashion and retail industry. She wanted to start family but didn't want to give up on her burgeoning career. The solution was an all-new business concept that gave her the flexibility she needed to have that family yet also filled a large void in the retail market. After 20+ years as a clothing buyer and fashion stylist, Gina came to understand that women were starting to crave a more personalized and elevated shopping experience. One that addressed their individuality and evolving needs. Traditional retail was failing miserably with busy professionals and mamas, who needed help with their styling, and not just to transition from carpool to the office but for also for special events and travel. They wanted flexibility and one-on-one attention. With that goal in mind, and with an impressive roster of stylists, designers, showrooms and loyal clientele, Gina opened Spool’s doors in May 2005. Spool has evolved into a beautiful space that was set up for privacy and individual appointments, for ladies to come play dress up - while maintaining a relaxing and kid-friendly environment while also catering to her family’s individual needs. Spool’s garden also has become the perfect backdrop to host events and spotlight local female founded brands.
